This is a rare 4-faced Buddha (PhromSieNah) made and blessed in
B.E.2529 by LP Chaem, Wat DonYaihom, NakonPathom. The PhromSieNah is in sitting posture
with full gears in all hands, and there is a Buddha image sitting on the Phrom's top head.
LP Chaem's PhromSieNah rian has Metta efficacy, but please notice that there is a Singh
(Lion King) at bottom of the reverse side implying Maha Amnaj (charismatic power) property
apart from Metta. PhromSieNah
or 4-faced Buddha is actually Brahminist 4-faced God, but it is popularly called
"4-faced Buddha" by Chinese Buddhists***.
Thai Buddhists also highly respect
PhromSieNah just because Buddhism developed from Brahminism which is now well blended into
people way of life from birth to death. Lots of important ceremonies have related to
Brahminism in some scales even amulet consecrations.
LP Chaem learned Buddhistic magics and
ultra Dhamma with LP Ngern Wat DonYaihom. Most of LP Ngern's amulets were assistedly made
and co-blessed by LP Chaem. Ater LP Ngern passed away in B.E.2520, LP Chaem succeeded his
teacher's seat as the Abbot of Wat DonYaihom ever since. LP Chaem passed away in B.E. 2536
at the age of 87.
