The above amulet is LP Boon KleebBua
MekkaPhat, Wat KlangBangkaew of early 2470s. The word KleebBua means lotus petal, it's so called because the
amulet shape looks
like a lotus petal.
MekkaPhat is a kind of
efficacious alloy of shining black color. Guru monks of the
old time liked to use the alloy of this kind to make amulets
due to its efficacy by nature.
KleebBua MekkaPhat is LP Boon's popular economy-price amulets
due to their lower price but so great for their efficacies and
properties. The front side is Buddha sitting on lotus base and the
background is Buddha's Rassami or radius. The reverse side
LP Boon, who has enormous
knowledge on BuddhaKom, was one of the greatest pre-war Guru monks of
the country. He was a close friend of many contemporarily famous
Guru monks viz LP Nak of Wat HuaiJorake, ChaoKhun Vinai Kitkosol and
ChaoKhun Phrom of Wat Gallaya, LP Taab Wat Thong, and Somdej Phra
Sangkharaj (Pae)--the Supreme Patriarch of Wat Suthat.
Famous ChaoKhun Sri (Sondh)
had first learned with LP Boon and later left for Wat Suthat and became
the Supreme Patriarch's right hand and closest disciple. For LP Chaem of
Wat Takong, a greatest and most famous Guru monk of NakonPathom and the
teacher of LP Tae Kongthong, was also a disciple of LP Boon.
All of LP Boon's amulets
are so efficacious and has comprehensive properties, such as Metta,
KlaewKlaad, longivity of life, good fate and fortune, etc.
LP Boon passed away in B.E.2478 at the age of 89, he ordained and
sustained for his monkhood life for 68 years.
