Rare ChaoKhun Nor Kring PradhanPorn Plain Back Mold, B.E.2512 |
|||
| The above
very rare-to-find ChaoKhun Nor (CKN) Kring was cast in early
B.E. 2512 and singlely blessed by CKN in Wat Dhepsirin's Bosth (the main hall of the
temple) and distributed at Wat Wangkrachom, Nakornnayok, raising fund for the temple and
school construction. The above Kring Pradhanporn is plain-back mold, it has no Thai digit "9" appearing on the lower lotus base of the reverse side. Please click here to view and compare the CKN Kring Pradhanporn with Thai-digit-9 back. Most of CKN Kring
PraDhanporn B.E.2512 are Thai-digit-9 mold. Normally, it's hard to find a Kring of this kind,
but much harder is the plain-back mold as seen
above. CKN is highly respected as a greatest Guru of this modern age. He
ordained for 46 years since B.E.2468 and was an ultra-high Dhamma practice monk. He was a
strict vegetarian and took only one meal a day, and never stepped out the temple but
simulated his Kuti (monk house) as a quiet jungle for practicing until reaching ultra-high
Dhamma. One day before his passing, he told his nephew not to deliver him a pack of cereal food anymore and also hinted his close neighboring monk that the day he was not present at the Bosth for chanting would mean the day of his death. CKN passed away in early B.E.2514 at the
age of 75, with his hands joined together paying the last respect to Lord Buddha. As told
by high rank monks, his cremated relics later became crystal-like materials or Phra Dhat
which hints us his highest Dhamma attainment. |
